“Education does not mean teaching people what they do not know. It means teaching them to behave as they do not behave.”
— John Ruskin
My thoughts on this profound statement:
• I love this quote. I truly believe we all already know everything there is to know. If we think we don’t know something, it just means we haven’t yet become consciously aware of it.
• Teaching someone to behave from a better level of awareness is true teaching. Which must also mean that behaving from a better level of awareness than what we are used to is true learning.
• A truly educated person is one who has become aware that there is no end to learning, growing, and expansion. A true student is one who knows their education is infinite, and will continue into eternity.
My encouragement for you today is to start looking at your behavioral habits as the master keys to all of your learning and advancement.
It is a multitude of habits that define a paradigm, and it’s the paradigm that defines your results in life.
If you want positive change in your life, you must change the paradigm, and that change begins the moment you make a decision you’re going to change it.
Practice becoming more aware of the habits that keep you in bondage holding you back from living your bliss.
Once aware of these habits, take conscious control of them, willingly remove them, and immediately replace them with new and better habits.
Over time you will replace the entire multitude of habits that form your paradigm.
The moment you have replaced the old paradigm with a new and better paradigm is the same moment you will enter a state of bliss as you begin living out your old fantasy as a new fact of your life.
